Shinedown fait son grand retour avec son album studio très attendu, EI8HT, porté en avant première par le puissant single « Safe and Sound ».

Cette sortie fait suite à une année historique marquée par la sortie de quatre singles phares : « Three, Six Five », « Dance, Kid Dance » et « Killing Fields », ainsi que « Searchlight », interprété pour la première fois au mythique Grand Ole Opry.

Leur succès s'est poursuivi avec une immense tournée des salles combles, incluant un concert au Madison Square Garden. Autoproduit par le bassiste Eric Bass et co-écrit avec le chanteur Brent Smith, cet album de 18 titres mêle un rock puissant à des textes introspectifs et universels, offrant ainsi un répertoire varié et confirmant le statut de Shinedown comme le groupe du peuple

EI8HT représente le retour d’un groupe qui a déjà vendu plus de 10 millions d’albums dans le monde, et qui continue de dominer les charts rock américains.
