Yesterrock, this sounds like Yesterday, music of the past. Yesterrock though stands for the present, for a newly founded Classic- and Hard Rock label based in Munich, Germany, which is specializing in re-issuing records that either haven't been available for years or previously only released on vinyl but not on CD yet. The label gains essential support in the search for these hidden treasures from both Universal and Sony amongst others. Various independent label's and artist's contributions also help that CD's now can be released which lately - in particular cases - only have been available in used and overpriced status on common internet platforms such as amazonold and Ebay. The distribution for the re-issue releases from Yesterrock will be handled by NL Distribution, who are also located in Munich and already have made themselves a good name in the scene with some fine releases in the past. One of the fundamental interests of Yesterrock is to include the large group of AOR, Melodic and Hard Rock fans into it's concept, to keep them up-to-date about news and to involve them into various specials to come. More information can be soon found on our website www.yesterrock.com. Musicians and bands who would like to give their successful releases from the past a new chance in the future are of course welcome to get in touch with us, too. After the releases of Dare - "Out Of The Silence" and China - s/t, Yesterrock will continue with re-issuing the three Bonfire classics "Don't Touch The Light", "Fireworks" and "Point Blank" which all are due for release on March 13th, 2009. More info about these releases which contain 7 bonus tracks each can be found in the pdf attached. Future releases will include Night Ranger's classic recordings "Man In Motion" and "Big Life" and many more. For more info, feel free to contact us. Founded on the ashes of early 80's Hard Rock act Cacumen, German rock act Bonfire unleashed their debut album “Don't Touch The Light” in 1986, which not only raised a lot of attention in the Hard Rock scene but also received favourable press from all over the world. Containing classic songs such as the hymn “Hot To Rock”, the catchy title track and the heart wrenching ballad “You Make Me Feel”, this impressive effort marked an incredible start for this promising five-piece band. Soon after the release of “Don't Touch The Light”, Bonfire went through some line-up changes but nevertheless hit the studios with famous producer Michael Wagener to record the album which up to today is regarded as one true classic in Hard Rock history: “Fireworks”. Originally released in 1987, this record marked the international breakthrough for the band, in Germany alone sold more than 100.000 copies and took Bonfire into the national charts for more than 30 weeks. These three classic sought after releases, “Don't Touch The Light”, “Fireworks” and “Point Blank” are now available digitally re-mastered and with 7 bonus tracks each through the leading re-issue Yesterrock label. | "_____ http://www.myspace.com/metal_den _____ http://metalden.free.fr/forum _____" |
