Rock It! Magazine, Break Out, Rock, FFM Rock, AOR Heaven presents: H.E.A.T Festival 2010, 16th & 17.10.2010
The H.E.A.T. Festival in Germany celebrates its 3rd anniversary this year. It will be the first time that it will be a two-day event. We are sad to say that we had to change the location due to political circumstances, but we are very happy to have a new home in the great location h2o in Reichenbach/Fils near Stuttgart.
The festival takes place the 16th and 17th of October. On the 15th there will be an opening night with the local cover rock band The Woodpeckers and the bands Downspirit (Ger) and Shotgun Express (Ger).
Day 1 (16th of October):
Wig Wam (Nor), H.E.A.T. (Swe), Soul Doctor (Ger), Bad Habit (Swe), Bangalore Choir (Usa), Bai Bang (Swe), Shylock (Ger).
Wig Wam: The Norwegian Glam Rockers will play their first show in middle Europe for the latest album "Non Stop Rock'n Roll" on the festival. It will be their first German show in five years. Satisfaction guaranteed with great party glam rock!
H.E.A.T: "Freedom Rock" is one of the best Hard rock releases this year and the Swedish youngsters are on the way to the top at the moment. This might be the first show with their yet unknown new singer after the departing of great Kenny Leckremo.
Soul Doctor: One of the leading German Hard rock bands will hit the stage of the festival for the first time. The band with the great singer Tommy Heart (Also FAIR WARNING) and guitarist Chris Lyne released their best album so far with "Way Back To The Bone" in 2009 and they are ready to kick ass with their high class Rock'n Roll.
Bad Habit: "Timeless- The Best Of Bad Habit" just hit the street and we are very proud the have the band to play Germany for the first time in over 20 years. The band is also very excited about their return and promised a best of show!
Bangalore Choir: The US Hard rock legend, fronted by ex- Accept singer David Reece, are ready again to hit the stage. After the re-release of their only album "Human Target" (1992) on AOR Heaven earlier 2010, they announced the release of a new album for September 2010 on AOR Heaven as well. Don't miss this great band!
Bai Bang: Swedish Glam Rock veterans make one of their rare live appearances on German stages at our festival. We are very happy to have them on the billing!
Shylock: "Rockbuster", the fourth album of this German Melodic rocker, saw the light of day in February 2010 and marks a fantastic comeback after more than four years.
Day 2 (17th of October):
Ohrenfeindt (Ger), Babylon Bombs (Swe), Hartmann (Ger), Subway (Ger), Subsignal (Ger), Wicked Temptation (Ger), Redlight Ballerina (Ger).
Ohrenfeindt: This is a German 3-piece from St.Pauli/Hamburg. Their street Rock'n Roll can be compared to AC/DC and their German vocals are as politically incorrect as the ones from great Bon Scott and with the same sense of humor!
Babylon Bombs: The Swedish Glam heroes are on the road to promote their great album "Babylon's Burning". With their new singer Wick and many great songs they will kick great ass at our festival!!
Hartmann: Hartmann as a band just released they third album simply called "3". Frontmann Oliver Hartmann should be known for his great work for his former band At Vance and his participation at the great Avantasia project. Other than them his band is playing a modern style of classic rock. Great singer, great artist!
Subway: With "Lola's Themes", release date October 8th, 2010 on Fastball Music/Sony, this German Meldicrock outfit marks his comeback in over 8 years. Singer Francis Soto reformed the band in 2009 and they are ready to hit the stage again after such a long break.
Subsignal: The German Progressive band just came back from their very successful European tour with scene veterans SAGA. They fit perfect to all the Hard rock bands on the billing, cause they know how to rock!!
Wicked Temptation: US Hard rock from Germany, comparable to Dokken or Lynch Mob.
Redlight Ballerina: Great German newcomer band. Founded back in late 2009 they already managed to get a slot on our festival. With their sound somewhere between Fifth Angel and Mötley Crüe without a doubt they are one of the hottest unsigned bands in Germany at the moment!
