J'ai pas été le seul a avoir été impressionné, voici le point par le groupe avec quelques références :
Threshold's new CD Dead Reckoning is now released in Europe, with the UK release due on Monday. Fans outside Europe will have to wait a bit longer or buy it on import from UK sites such as www.hmv.co.uk or www.amazonold.co.uk. The digipak version of the release includes a cover of the Muse track Supermassive black hole.

problème momentané de chanteur pour le groupe, Andrew 'Mac' McDermott les a laché pour les festivals qu'ils doivent jouer ce WE, fort heureusement, l'ancien chanteur : Damian Wilson a bien voulu le remplacer au pied levé !
THRESHOLD singer Andrew 'Mac' McDermott has astonished his fellow band members by deciding not to perform at this weekend's Metalcamp and Earthshaker festivals in Slovenia and Germany.
"Fortunately the band's previous singer Damian Wilson has come to the rescue and will perform at the festivals with the band for the first time since 1997.
"Damian Wilson is currently lead singer for the band HEADSPACE who recently supported OZZY OSBOURNE for U.K. shows, including Wembley Arena."
THRESHOLD will embark on the "Live Reckoning Tour" (Part 1) in August/September with support from COMMUNIC, MACHINE MEN and SERENITY. THRESHOLD will also perform at a number of summer and fall festivals, including ProgPower USA and ProgPower Scandinavia. |

woa le délire du truc se barrer juste avant une serie de concerts sans autre forme procès et le précédent qui reprend la barre illico presto, sans trop de préparation! bah alors là chapeau pour ce dernier et ouh ouh pour Mac Dermott!
Surtout que le dernier(excellent) opus c'est pas du Marcel Hamont

et en plus, il s'engage à assurer l'intégralité des dates, Plunk a confirmé l'officialisation du départ de Mac dans les news, voici le point du jour :
THRESHOLD's original vocalist Damian Wilson has confirmed that he will perform with the U.K. progressive metal band for all their tour dates this year following the departure of previous singer Andrew "Mac" McDermott. Damian already stood in earlier this month for the band's performances at Slovenia's Metalcamp and Germany's Earthshaker Fest.
Wilson sang on THRESHOLD's early albums "Wounded Land" and "Extinct Instinct". He is currently lead singer for the band HEADSPACE who recently supported OZZY OSBOURNE for U.K. shows, including Wembley Arena.
McDermott confirmed his departure from THRESHOLD earlier this week. In a statement he told fans that he knew the timing was bad but thanked them for all their support. He also wished the band all the best and expressed his gratitude to Wilson for standing in for him.
THRESHOLD's new album "Dead Reckoning" has received eight "Album of the Month" awards across Europe, Canada and South America. The band will tour Europe in September with a three band support featuring COMMUNIC, MACHINE MEN and SERENITY, followed by further shows and festivals including October's sold-out ProgPower USA festival. |

un best of double cd à sortir en novembre, pour ceux qui ne sont pas encore branchés sur cet excellent groupe :
Inside Out Music will release a "best-of" collection from U.K. progressive metallers THRESHOLD in November. Entitled "The Ravages of Time", the two-CD set includes important compositions and classics by the band, among them the lavish "Sanity's End", which effortlessly takes the 10-minute hurdle and proves that THRESHOLD always allow their albums enough space to breathe. "You can't judge our songs with a stopwatch," guitarist Karl Groom explained some years ago, accounting for the fact that expansive arrangements are part of his band’s concept, as numbers such as "Falling Away", "The Art Of Reason", "A Tension of Souls", "Innocent", "Fragmentation", and the haunting "Oceanbound", with its memorable line "Let the sky become an ocean pull me in above my head" prove. Then there are previously unreleased radio edits of "Slipstream" and "Pilot in the Sky of Dreams" from their current album release, "Dead Reckoning", which arrived at the stores in spring 2007, plus rare radio versions of the classics, "Pressure" and "Exposed", which confirm that THRESHOLD's numbers lose none of their fascination even in this condensed format.
