Entre Pop , Soul et Rock FM ce duo génial  a produit pas mal de tubes " maneater " ' I can go for that " " out of touch " " adult education " " say ins't so" mon album préféré et celui que je recommande " H2O "

Tu es dur de les mettre dans la rubrique disparus, ils ont encore une actu .
J'ai pas mal d'albums , le dernier Do it for love (ideal pour se calmer apres une dure journée  ), et je dois dire que la voix de Darryl HAll m'as toujours touché .
En particulier, j'ai un laserdisc ntsc d'un concert 'The liberty Concert' vraiment fabuleux Il y a un monde fou et ils arrivent en helico 
Par contre le dernier album qu'ils ont fait est un album de reprises , je le connais pas. | |

Comme philou, disparus nonnnnnnn. J'ai adoré leur retour avec Marigold sky et le premier titre
Roméo is bleeding. Moins accroché à Do it for love, je connais pas leur album de reprises. J'adore la voix et les albums solo de Darryl Hall. Ils restent très populaire aux USA, c'est une institution là bas. On a beaucoup parler d'eux sur les forums il y a un an car Simply Red
a utilisé des samplers de I can go for that pour leur titre sunrise qui a été un tube. Il me semble que pour Simply, Hall and Oates est une référence. |

J'adore Hall & Oates et surtout Daryl Hall à vrai dire. H20 est pour moi le meilleur album du groupe dans les 80s et après. Néanmoins, je me penche sur leur production dans les 70s actuellement et je trouve cela sublime. Une musique soul beaucoup plus authentique car dénuée de bidouillages et de synthés. Je recommande à ce titre la compilation the Atlantic Collection qui revient sur leurs premiers enregistrements puis "Daryl Hall and John Oates" (1975) sur lequel on retrouve le magnifique "Sara Smile" |

moi j'adore la version original de "Everytime you go away" qui sera repris et popularisé par PAUL YOUNG |
