ANTHRAX's "Caught in a Mosh", IRON MAIDEN's "Wrathchild", WHITE LION's "Radar Love" and SCORPIONS' "No One Like You" are among the latest songs that have been announced for Activision's special 1980s-themed Guitar Hero title, dubbed Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s. The last game in the series to be developed by now-MTV-owned Harmonix will ship for the PlayStation 2 in July.

ça y est c est bon , j ai acheter ma xbox 360 avec guitar hero 2 et bien c est une tuerie,une fois que tu t y met t as plus envie d arreter , ma fille et mon garçon se sont aussi interesses au jeux et du coup a ma musique , peut etre que ce jeux va succiter des vocations .
en tout cas ils sont devenu accros comme moi . il faut attendre son tour pour jouer .

Un peu plus d'un an après sa création, la série Guitar Hero fait déjà partie des meubles chez Activision et, en attendant le duel fratricide avec Rock Band en fin d'année, l'éditeur assure la promotion du troisième épisode en lui accordant tous les égards habituellement dus aux franchises établies depuis bien longtemps. En parallèle de l'annonce au compte-gouttes des différents morceaux, ce Guitar Hero III (désormais sous-titré Legends of Rock) fait aujourd'hui l'actualité grâce à quelques photos des guitares sur ses différents supports, ci-dessous (dans l'ordre, les périphériques PS2, Wii, Xbox 360 et PS3) , grâce à la liste des guitares embarquées et surtout grâce à l'annonce de la présence de Slash dans le jeu, aussi connu pour la vitesse de ses phalanges que pour le ridicule de ses chapeaux. Modélisé et même motion capturé, l'ancien guitariste de Guns'n'Roses sera l'un des nombreux boss du jeu, une nouveauté de ce volet, et devra vraisemblablement être affronté en un-contre-un. Guitar Hero III : Legends of Rock proposera en outre un mode multi inédit, avec quelques bonus/malus à balancer à son adversaire, et comptera dans sa playlist l'un des morceaux cultes des Guns'n'Roses, Welcome to the Jungle. Sa sortie est toujours prévue pour cet automne. |

IRON MAIDEN's "The Number of the Beast" and DRAGONFORCE's "Through the Fire and Flames" are among the latest confirmed tracks for the upcoming Activision title Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.
According to GameSpy, since the release of the first Guitar Hero game, DRAGONFORCE has consistently been one of the most requested bands from hardcore players, and will likely be the toughest song in the Guitar Hero series to date; thankfully, including it as a bonus song means it won't prevent anyone from completing the normal campaign.
As previously reported, former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER guitarist Slash will provide an original track for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, as well as make an appearance in-game as a boss battle character. The legendary guitarist will not, however, be easy to get to: In order to "unlock" Slash (who donned a motion-capture suit so game makers could track his every pluck), players will have to face him in a one-on-one shredding duel after completing all the songs in the game.
