 Avis de fred67 (17/08/08) | 95/100 | C'est un peu la loose, mais j'ai découvert Johnny Cash avec cet album...il y a quelques jours ! Moi qui suis plutôt amateur de voix qui grimpe aux rideaux, j'ai eu un choc en entendant le timbre très profond et très bas du bonhomme. Mais quelle excellente surprise ! J'ai rarement ressenti une telle émotion dans le chant, si ce n'est avec Steve Perry ( pas trop comparable , je sais... ).
Il y a de très belles mélodies, immédiatement mémorisables ( normal pour des reprises qui, pour la plupart sont connues !) et une authenticité de tous les instants qui donne à chaque titre une force magique.
