Tim, c'est un peu la loose, viré de judas avec le retour de Halford, puis plus récemment viré de iced earth avec le retour de Barlow, il a trouvé un poste provisoire chez YNGWIE MALMSTEEN !
Par ailleurs, l'équivalent du pacific rock du Brésil, pour son 14eme annif, l'a fait venir pour taper le boeuf sur un titre de Maiden, dommage le son est pourri, car l'ambiance y était :

Powerhouse heavy metal vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ex-JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH) was the special guest at the 14th-anniversary celebration of the Manifesto Rock Bar in São Paulo, Brazil on December 20, 2008.
Fan-filmed video footage of Owens performing the IRON MAIDEN classic "Flight of Icarus" with a guest appearance by SHADOWSIDE frontwoman Dani Nolden can be viewed below (courtesy of "rockmetalstars").
D.X. Ferris of the Cleveland Free Times spoke to Owens about Tim's forthcoming solo debut, which he has been recording in Los Angeles. Tentatively due in early 2009, the album will include guest appearances by Billy Sheehan (ex-MR. BIG, DAVID LEE ROTH), Rudy Sarzo (DIO, ex-OZZY OSBOURNE, QUIET RIOT, WHITESNAKE), David Ellefson (F5, ex-MEGADETH) and many other veterans. Bob Kulick (KISS, W.A.S.P.) and Chris Caffery (TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, SAVATAGE) collaborated on material with Owens while John Comprix, Tim's BEYOND FEAR bandmate, plays rhythm guitar and co-wrote some of the songs. Mike Callahan (DISENGAGE, EARSHOT) also contributed.
"[The solo record] was my management and label's decision," Owens told the Cleveland Free Times. "I think they want to show I can do this on my own. If anything, it proves that BEYOND FEAR is a band, and this is my solo record." |

Malmsteen est au fond du gouffre pour faire appel à lui après avoir bossé avec des tueurs comme Mats Leven |

Malmsteen aurait mieux fait de s'abstenir avec Owens, ce mec est nul, le dernier Malmsteen est pourri(pourtant je suis un fan ). Sans doute l'album aurait été meilleur avec un autre chanteur derrière le micro:
Edman de retour (mon rêve ), Soto, Leven, John West, D. C. Cooper , il y a du choix ....
