entierement d'accord.
tu as mis dans le mille selon moi.
et en réécoutant les débuts du groupe, on peut se rendre compte que Harry Hess n'avait pas ce coté linéaire dans son chant, ce qui donnait + de chaleur aux albums. |

Entièrement d'accord avec Seb également, les deux derniers Harem Scarem ne font pas l'unanimité de mes oreilles et se ressemblent énormément et la façon de chanter harry trop linéaire
par contre, je trouves Weight of the world excellent, ensuite le "Live at the gods" est dispensable... en comparaison avec leur 1er live qui est pour ma part un des meilleurs albums enregistrés en public  |

There has been some confusion surrounding Harem Scarem and what's coming up from them now the final show has passed last weekend at Firefest IV.
Guitarist Pete Lesperance had this to say about the band's planned farewell album: "The truth of the matter is that since we have been busier then usual for the last couple months with rehearsing, playing and the usual day to day, we haven't been focused on writing for the record. Since it is our last time out, we want to do something that we feel strongly about and we're not going to rush the the writing process just to meet a release deadline. So the record will be postponed until we have the songs. That being said, we do have some tracks in the works and are writing for it."
Secondly - when Harem Scarem unfortunately pulled out of MelodicRockFest, frontman Harry Hess stated that the band would record a 4 track acoustic EP and donate the proceeds of the EP to MelodicRock.com.
I clarified this with Harry today as there was the automatic assumption by fans (and myself for that matter) that the EP would be a physical product manufactured especially. However, idea rather was to record the tracks (as they are doing now) and donate those songs for use on the next MelodicRock Compilation CD.
I am perfectly happy with that idea. I had no plans to start work on another compilation, but this might just be the thing to kick start the project and I'll work with Harry to see if we can't make the compilation something Harem fans will definitely appreciate.
I hope that clarifies what the band are intending to do. Stay tuned for ay updates when and where... |

un DVD est en préparation sur la base du firefest, si vous y etiez, le groupe est la recherche de photos de fans pour l'artwork du DVD, voici le message du jour :

That's right, the last Scarem show ever has been recorded and will be
released on a DVD. This is an appeal to any fans that were at FireFest who
may have taken some great live shots to contribute to the artwork for the

le dvd s'appellera RAW & RARE, c'est pour bientot + nouvel album dans la foulée :
News from Harem Scarem - "Some updates on the upcoming DVD release. It is called RAW & RARE and almost ready to go. The band is also working hard on the new record, writing songs and they will be recording by the end of the month finishing up around the end of April with release dates soon after. Check back soon for more!"

Le dvd part comme des petits pains, 300 en 5 jours ... :
"Dut to phenomenal demand, the intended 300 NTSC copies of Harem Scarem's Raw & Rare have completely sold-out within 5 days. As the DVDs are not being manufactured till early next week, we have decided to alter the split from 700 PAL/300 NTSC to 600 PAL/400 NTSC. This means there are now a further 100 NTSC copies that will be made available, but 100 fewer PAL. That means currently, there are now only 180 unsold PAL pre-order copies available. As previously stated, when these 1000 are pre-sold, there will be no more of the Collectors Edition manufactured.
