A toi de jouer Sav : pendant les mois de novembre et de décembre, le site Web officiel de DEF LEPPARD, DefLeppard.com, vends aux enchères la garde-robe de scène portée par le bassiste Rick Savage pendant la plupart des concerts du groupe sur leur tournée 2006 et quelques dates sur la tournée 2007 .
During the months of November and December, DEF LEPPARD's official web site, DefLeppard.com, will be auctioning authentic stage wardrobe worn by bassist Rick Savage during most of the band's shows on their 2006 tour and a few dates on the recent 2007 tour.

Among the items that will be auctioned are various jeans, shirts, T-shirts and vests, with all proceeds going to a number of charities.

DEF LEPPARD has been confirmed for the Classic Rock Festival, set to take place May 12-14, 2008 in Sandnes, Norway.
DEF LEPPARD's May 21, 2008 performance at the Classic Rock Festival will mark the band's first appearance in Norway since 1996. Other European dates are expected to be announced soon.
DEF LEPPARD's upcoming record will be called "Songs from the Sparkle Lounge", but no release date has been set for it. It will be their first album since last year's "Yeah!", which was a collection of covers of songs by artists who had influenced the band. Their most recent studio album of original material was 2002's "X". |

DEF LEPPARD's official web site, DefLeppard.com, is auctioning off authentic pieces of outfits that bassist Rick Savage wore on stage during many shows on the band's tours in 2005, 2006 and 2007. A total of ten items will be auctioned (one item a week), including jeans, shirts, and vests.
The fourth auction is now online — a white buttoned shirt, worn mostly during DEF LEPPARD's 2006 "Yeah!" tour. The shirt is in good condition but shows some use, and comes with a personal "thank-you" note from Savage.
All proceeds of this auction will go to the Sheffield Children's Hospital and Help A Hallam Child, Rick's choice of charities.

With March 27 being the start date of the band's World Tour to support their upcoming album "SONGS FROM THE SPARKLE, LOUNGE", many of you have been wondering if the album will actually be released before the kickoff show. We can hereby tell you that as of today, the album is scheduled for release on MARCH 17 in the UK and MARCH 18 in the rest of the world. That's right -- in about two months the band's new album might be in the shops! Please note this is a TENTATIVE date and therefore may change.
Furthermore, the first single off the album will be called "NINE LIVES" and will feature a guest appearance by country star TIM MCGRAW.

Non parce que tout simplement la country est la meilleur musique au monde!
ce qui est sure déja c'est que l'album va se classer n1 aus States des sa premiere semaine |

"Well, it's one of the constants in the history of DEF LEPPARD, and we regret to inform you that it has popped up again: the release of the band's new album, 'Songs from the Sparkle Lounge', has been pushed back (even though the date we mentioned two weeks ago was only a tentative date to start with). The album is now scheduled to come out on May 5 in the UK and May 6 in North America (international dates have not been confirmed yet, but it will probably be May 6 as well). I guess we don't need to tell you that these dates are also tentative and subject to change.
"We can also give you the working titles of all the tracks scheduled to appear on the album. From the way things look now, 11 songs from the Sparkle Lounge will be making their way to your CD player:
01. Nine Lives
02. C'mon C'mon
03. Go
04. Love
05. Cruise Control
06. Bad Actress
07. Hallucinate
08. Tomorrow
09. Come Undone
10. Only the Good Die Young
