Bon je ne savais pas qu'il y avait des amateurs de MANOWAR sur Cross' !
J'adore ce groupe ! 
Bon perso j'ai trouvé ce dernier disque vraiment tres bon .
du Manowar typique , bien heavy , bien épique , la recette est tj bonne .
j'ai trouvé cet opus tres ambitieux , et tres réussit .
Les morceaux rentre dedans flingues bien !
les interludes instrumentaux/parlé/avec des bruitages de chevaux/épées ... genre B.O de films épique j'ai bien apprécié !
par moment on se croirais dans : " the lord of the ring " !
je pense que ce disque doit etre prit comme une oeuvre globale.
1 h 15 de musique , on est + pres de la durée d'un film que d'un album !!
enfin pour ma part , j'ai été décu en rien ( tout aux contraire ! )
Bref je suis + que satisfait , continué comme ca les gars !
Qd aux double Live qui a suivit ce disque , et bien a mes yeux , c'es le meilleur albums Live de MANOWAR ! |

Moi aussi j'adore ce groupe et je trouve que leur dernier effort studio est un véritable bijou !
Cool de savoir qu'il te plait aussi !
Et tu as parfaitement décrit et capté ce que je ressens à son écoute...
Pour moi c'est comme une sorte de B.O que j'écoute d'une seule traite.
J'attendais depuis un p'tit moment qu'ils développent enfin ce côté épique et conceptuel !
Et voilà donc le groupe à son apogée pour moi !
Je voyage vraiment dans la tête à l'écoute de toutes ces orchestrations,etc....
Un peu comme l'excellente B.O de Basil Poledouris sur Conan Le Barbare.
Quant au live, que je chroniquerai prochainement, je l'ai à peine survolé...à écouter plus en détails.
Je suis également ravi de voir que tu aimes ce fantastique DVD des EAGLES !
Belle preuve de versatilité dans tes goûts ! |

Pour le double Live tu ne seras pas décu ( Jattend ta Chro lol ) , il est vraiment excellent !
Pour ce qui est du DVD des EAGLES a Melbourne , j'en suis dingue !
Quel talent ! En Live c'est vraiment qq chose les EAGLES !

Over 35,000 rabid fans braved the cold winds and rain to witness the "Spectacle of Might" known as MANOWAR and their special guests between July 9 and July 12. MANOWAR headlined the Friday and Saturday nights of the festival, performing their first six albums back to back. The highlight of their performance was the 20th anniversary of the "Kings of Metal" album with the men's choir. In addition, the band gave away 20,000 copies of "Die With Honor" to those in attendance (in addition to 20,000 free beers and the giving away of four custom built choppers owned by the band).
Thousands of fans thrilled to the chance to have an autograph with all members of MANOWAR, and due to overwhelming demand, the band signed non-stop for 12 hours over a two-day period. They were not able to complete all the autograph requests, and next year they will be adding an extra day of autographs to make every fan happy.
MANOWAR bassist Joey DeMaio revealed long-awaited details about a secret project. He announced that next year MANOWAR would perform its new (as-yet-untitled and unreleased) album onstage. And it is not just a normal album... it will be written in collaboration with the biggest-selling German author Wolfgang Hohlbein (over 35 million books sold), and will include a tie-in novel and feature film and video game. When Wolfgang appeared onstage during MANOWAR's Saturday performance, he was joined by his manager Dieter Winkler and close friend Ralf Buxa. |

Due on November 27, 2008, "Magic Circle Festival Volume II" features two discs packed with never-before-seen footage of songs from the first six MANOWAR albums — including some songs that have never been performed or presented on CD or DVD before. The "Magic Circle Festival Volume II" DVD also includes exclusive footage of MANOWAR's record-breaking sound check, an exclusive backstage tour with Joey DeMaio, footage from the festival's battle of the bands, fan interviews and footage from the festival performances by HOLYHELL, METALFORCE, JACK STARR'S BURNING STAR, TITANIUM BLACK, K.O.B.U.S. and more. encore un projet un peu fou et une première, ils ont décidé de chanter father, qui sera sur le prochain album, en 16 langues, un vrai record, il y aura la version française, il devrait y avoir des clips videos, tous les détails :

This time MANOWAR has taken a song from its upcoming concept album and recorded it in 16 languages! Never before has this been attempted by any heavy metal band!! The song "Father" is a heroic tribute lamented by a son who witnesses his father's death. It is based on the tale of Thor, the God of Thunder known as "The Asgard Saga". A revolutionary collaboration with Wolfgang Hohlbein, Germany's best-selling fantasy author, MANOWAR is creating the album as Hohlbein writes the book.
The song has been sung by Eric Adams, with the assistance of fans worldwide, in: English, German, Italian, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Norwegian, Spanish, French, Greek, Turkish, Polish, Japanese, Croatian, Portuguese and Finnish!
