Ils ont sorti un 2éme album en 2003 mais je ne sais pas exactement ce qu'il vaut , si certains d'entre vous connaisse ce groupe, faites-moi part de vos impressions | "Adult Oriented Rock" |

leurs points de vue:
Jez Date: August 23, 2003 at 1:22 Finally after nearly 25 years we get some more Classic Pomp/ Sympho from the masters. This cd is avaliable from the band website, and consists of tracks from varying sessions from 1976-1979. All are extremely good soundwise and quality wise aswell. If you're into the debut album, then you won't go wrong with this. I would go as far to say that some of the tracks are even better than on the debut, and that's saying something.
From: Rycheage Date: January 21, 2004 at 1:21 Aviary's new album is one for the fans - without any question. If you haven't discovered the band, this still might act as a worthwhile listen if you are into 70's pomp/AOR in the vein of early Styx and Kansas.
From: Hrudet Date: June 6, 2004 at 15:14 I really love this disc. It’s like a mixture of Supertramp, Gentle Giant, Styx, and The Beatles. The last two bands mostly just seem to have influenced the vocal arrangements, for there are tons of lovely harmonies all over this baby. All the musicians are very talented, and they play together very tightly, but the strongest performances are probably by the drummer Richard Bryans, and the late bassist Ken Steimonts, to whom this recording is dedicated. Great under-appreciated stuff.
From: Nick C Date: November 19, 2004 at 17:43 I was sooo pleased when this was released. More of the same from masters of the pomp genre. Considering these are demos the sound is astounding and according to the liner notes there is more to come. Desert Song/Pharohs march and Eva's Birthday for me are the standout tracks IF you have to have standouts! If you go to the band site this CD now comes with a VCD of promo videos...don't worry if you bought it prior to this special edition (like ...you can get the VCD seperate.
From: Nick C Date: November 19, 2004 at 17:45 Ooops! hit the return key in excitement haha! I meant to say "(Like I did)" -- not sound like an extra of Beverly Hills 9012536561562536637!
From: Nick C Date: November 19, 2004 at 17:47 By the way...don't I go on ... if you like this both the Brad Love solo albums will not disappoint you.
From: juan carlos Date: November 22, 2007 at 13:55 Nada como su album del 79, éste tiene temas muy de esa época pero no me gusto. "Desert Song/Pharaohs March" tema de mas de 11 minutos que me hostigó totalmente. Solo "Hello" y "Yes and No" gustables, el resto para mas fanáticos del RockPomp. 6.8/10 | Ce message a été modifié le 2008-05-29 16:54:46 "I NEED A WEEKEND TONIGHT!" |
