forcément, quand des Australiens se mettent à jouer du metal prog, ça peut pas être soft, surtout quand le chanteur a des intonations à la Bruce Dickinson, donc ici ne cherchez pas un dérivé de Pink Floyd, ça décoiffe, et avec des lignes instrumentales trapues, enfin bref 
mais le mieux est d'écouter :

les Australiens chez les suédois, c'est Tommy Hansen qui mixe le nouvel album, 4 titres de A World Full of Grey, le 2007, toujours en écoute, quel chanteur ! :

Melbourne, Australia-based progressive power metallers EYEFEAR have issued the following update:
"As some of you may have already read on the Dockyard 1 website, our next album is being mixed and most likely mastered by Tommy Hansen. We are very happy to be working with such a talented guy and believe he'll give us the sound we are looking for on this next album. Sadly, this means we wont be working with Andy LaRocque [KING DIAMOND guitarist] who mixed the last two albums (and did a great job given the time he had) and was kind enough to play some solos on 'A World Full of Grey'. He has been great to work with and is an awesome guy and we hope to work with him again."
EYEFEAR's latets album, "A World Full of Grey", was released last June via Dockyard 1. The CD was recorded at keyboardist Sammy Giaccotto's studio Peak Time Productions in Melbourne, Australia and was mixed by Andy La Rocque at Los Angered Studios in Sweden. |

L'album A World Full Of Grey que j'écoute régulièrement est pas mal, c'est effectivement assez sévère, les grattes très SHADOWS FALL, plutôt coriaces  j'aime moins les parties chant effectivement très typées metal trad. m'enfin bon c'est plutôt pas mal, le suivant devrait passer assez vite dans la liste de mes commandes!

nouveau bassiste pour le groupe :
Melbourne, Australia-based progressive power metallers EYEFEAR have announced the addition of bassist Evan Harris (BLACK MAJESTY, ENDEL RIVERS' "Hardbite", TARAMIS) to the group's ranks. The band says in a statement: "We're really excited to have Evan in the band, and [it is] also a great honor, as he is one of Australia's premier bassists."
Commented Evan: "I have long been an admirer of EYEFEAR and of their class and commitment, and simply couldn't pass up the rare opportunity to join when it arose. Hopefully there are many years of great live shows and mindblowing albums ahead of us all."
EYEFEAR's fourth album, "The Unseen", was released this past November via Dockyard 1. The CD was mixed and mastered at Jailhouse Studios by Tommy Hansen. |
