The latest music video clip from HIM's new album, "Venus Doom", carries the secret and code-breaking game from the last video forward. Written as part of the original treatment by director Meiert Avis, the video for the new song, "Passion's Killing Floor" must be watched fully because things are not what they seem. le cadeau dominical, 3 videos qualité pro de leur set du 22/08 au DTE Energy Music Theatre à Clarkston, Michigan avec trois des nouveaux titres sur scène :
"Kiss of Dawn",
"Dead Lovers Lane" et
"Passion's Killing Floor".
Ces titres passent super bien la scène, c'est vrai que c'est du lourd avec de superbes soli, un vrai plaisir  :

En écoute actuellement, prêt du cd promo pour le week end, un certain durcissement du ton comme prévu mais on retrouve parfaitement le genre, eh Metalden tu vas être content y a des vrais solo de gratte qui dépouillent, love in cold blood est vraiment très bon, solo et même des hurlements en arrière plan! pour l'instant franchement pas mal, à suivre...

et a priori il est bien acceuilli, l'album démarre très fort en Finlande en n° 2, et les pronostics pour les US sont favorables :
HIM's new album, "Venus Doom", has entered the Finnish chart at position No. 2.
According to Helsingin Sanomat, "Venus Doom" is expected to land in the U.S. Top 10 when the first-week sales are revealed next Wednesday. HIM's last release, "Dark Light", entered The Billboard 200 chart at #18 back in October 2005. This time around, such numbers will not be regarded as doing the business. |
