et en attendant la tournée, 1er avril a tlse, ils travaillent dejà sur le nouvel album, le point :
Guitarist Thomas Youngblood and singer Roy Khan of American/Norwegian melodic metallers have issued the following update:
"Greetings from Elverum, Norway. It's the final day of the Ottertepp Sessions, the first of four writing sessions for KAMELOT's next full-length album. Well we can now reveal the location of the cabin here in Norway; it belongs to Lord Teksnes and is located in Sørskogbygda, Norway.
"The cabin has been the perfect place for our first taste of the new songs and direction for the songwriting. We would like to thank Lord Teksnes for the cabin and also all the Norwegian press that visited us while working up here."
As previously reported, KAMELOT have joined the roster of Royal Artist Club (powered by Nokia) where international artists offer fans a glimpse of their own everyday life: exclusive behind-the-curtains, on- and off-stage material. Royal Artist Club is a mobile blog where the members of the band can send videos and pictures via their mobile phones. You can comment on the blog and even suggest ideas what the guys could do with it! |

la tournée approche, et à Cologne, ils auront la chance de voir Simone Simons d'Epica (l'ex du clavieriste de kamelot !) sur scène pour The Haunting, comme sur le DVD, pour rappel, ça donnait cette excellentissime prestation

EPICA singer Simone Simons will join KAMELOT on stage on March 21 at Essigfabrik in Cologne, Germany to perform the song "The Haunting". Simone — the longtime girlfriend of KAMELOT keyboardist Oliver Palotai — also appears on the studio version of "The Haunting", which was included on KAMELOT's 2005 album "The Black Halo".
KAMELOT members Thomas Youngblood (guitar) and Roy Khan (vocals) last month completed the first of four writing sessions for the band's next full-length album in Sørskogbygda, Norway.
EPICA will release a double live CD, titled "The Classical Conspiracy", on May 8 through Nuclear Blast Records. The album was recorded in Miskolc, Hungary, on June 14 2008 during the Miskolc International Opera Festival. The band performed a 45-minute set of metal adaptations of classical songs and movie soundtracks, accompanied by the orchestra and choir as well as symphonic versions of its own songs (including a few orchestral songs from singles and "The Score", which had never been played live before).
EPICA entered Gate Studio in Wolfsburg, Germany on March 2 with producer Sascha Paeth to begin recording the follow-up to 2007's "The Divine Conspiracy", tentatively due before the end of the year via Nuclear Blast Records. |
