beaucoup plus consensuel, le 2ème album, c'est même le calme plat dans ce topic ! 
Allez, pour redécouvrir ce rock imprégné de 50's, une vidéo de "radio girl" vient d'être mise en ligne, rythmique super efficace, chant pour le moins original, ça reste un drôle de cocktail :

Mascot has set a February 22, 2008 release date for the first-ever DVD from Danish metallers VOLBEAT, entitled "Live: Sold Out!" The double DVD digipack with an eight-page booklet includes concert and behind-the-scenes footage shot at everything from small venues to festival appearances to the band's support gig with METALLICA in Denmark.
VOLBEAT will embark on a European tour in February to promote the DVD.
VOLBEAT's latest CD, "Rock The Rebel / Metal The Devil", was named "Best Album" at the Danish Metal Awards 2007, which were held on November 17 at Amager Bio in Copenhagen, Denmark. The LP was recently certified platinum in Denmark for sales in excess of 30,000 copies. According to the band this marks the first time a Danish metal album has sold platinum in Denmark.
"Rock The Rebel / Metal The Devil" entered the Danish chart at No. 1 upon its release in late February and stayed in the Top 5 for three months. |

Danish metallers VOLBEAT have completed work on their third album, "Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood", for a September release. The CD was recorded at Hansen studio in Ribe, Denmark with producer Jacob Hansen and contains 13 songs, seven of which share a common lyrical theme that will also be incorporated into the LP's artwork.
According to the band, "Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood" will include a cover of HANK WILLIAMS' "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry", and will feature an as-yet-undisclosed guest vocalist on the song "Mary Ann's Place", which continues the story of "Danny & Lucy", "Fire Song" and "Mr and Mrs Ness" from VOLBEAT's previous albums . The Danish limited edition of the CD will include a cover of KITTY WELLS' "Making Belive", which was inspired by SOCIAL DISTORTION's version of the same track. |
