EDGUY frontman Tobias Sammet has announced that the release date of the two new six-track albums from his AVANTASIA project, entitled "Lost In Space Part 1" and "Lost In Space - Part 2", has been pushed back to November 16 from the previously announced October 19.
"We have produced so much exclusive material for these two epics that we just needed the [extra] time," stated Sammet. "Except from the title track they contain completely different material, classy material, no bonus shit! In addition we decided to put some different video footage on each CD as well. We really had to postpone the release to warrant the AVANTASIA quality. But it will be worth the wait: This is the resurrection a project like AVANTASIA deserves. Fans will get two major releases, each for the price of a single. Many thanks to my record company that supported the idea. I know it may be insane business-wise, but the fans will reward it."
AVANTASIA's full-story album, "The Scarecrow", will be released at end of January next year via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD is expected to feature guest appearances by former HELLOWEEN frontman Michael Kiske, SCORPIONS guitarist Rudolf Schenker, rock legend Alice Cooper, Sascha Paeth, Henjo Richter, Eric Singer (KISS, ALICE COOPER), Miro, Jorn Lande (ex-MASTERPLAN), Bob Catley and Amanda Somerville. |

Tobias Sammet has announced that Roy Khan (KAMELOT) and Oliver Hartmann have just been confirmed as guest vocalists for the forthcoming "The Scarecrow" album from his AVANTASIA project.
On November 16, two AVANATASIA six-track albums "Lost In Space Part 1" and "Part 2" will be released. Apart from the identical title track both releases will feature completely different, exclusive songs plus videos, a poster, studio reports, a "making-of," a slideshow, and loads of enhanced bonus material, each for the price of a CD single.
According to Tobias, the material on the two EPs is top notch and could have easily made it to the album as well. But because there is so much material they have decided to put out those two releases instead of a regular single or EP.

Une évolution serait la bienvenue car depuis Mandrake, rien de mieux.
C'est bon mais ça n'évolue pas, enfin je l'accorde ce qu'il fait il le fait bien et d'ailleurs j'achète, mais je ne me précipiterais pas sur le prochain.
En fait il faudrait qu'il ouvre la porte à un co/compositeur, guitariste de surcroit.
Je rêverai de le voir s'associer à un Pete LESPERANCE, ça ferait du feu de DIEU

Lost in space (la chanson) s'annonce comme un pur tube (je prévois déjà des diffusions en boucle sur mcm du style "après avoir découvert Nightwish, mcm vous présente le tout premier album d'un jeune groupe très prometteur..."  ).
Ca va être tout simplement énorme je crois...
Plunk, on peut mettre des notes de 1000 sur 100 dans les reviews cds???  |
