Alors Brad Delp, le chanteur de Boston, genial groupe AOR (le premier ?) meurt et personne n'en parle. C'etait pourtant un excellent chanteur. Quelqu'un recommande "Corporate America", le dernier album de Boston sur lequel il me semble que Delp ne chante pas ? |

Si si il y chante sur 3 morceaux mais ce n'est pas le plus important.
D'accord avec toi sur le peu d'info sur le sujet.
Au dela de son exceptionnelle qualité vocale, Brad représentait des qualités humaines au delà de ce qu'on peut trouver dans ce milieu.
Après la disparition de Freddy Mercury, c'est le 2eme meilleur chanteur de la planète qui tire sa révérence.
Ne t'en fais pas Brad, tes chansons tourneront encore longtemps en boucle dans les oreilles des connaisseurs

BOSTON Singer Remembered At In My Life: A Concert for Brad Delp

The ovation that began last night's tribute concert to Brad Delp lasted several minutes and had a tangible heft to it. It was also pretty much the only time that sorrow was the primary emotion in the sold-out Regent Theatre .
Instead the marathon performance was filled with ebullience as Delp's beloved BEATLES tribute band BEATLEJUICE joined forces with a splendid line up of singers - all friends of the late BOSTON frontman, who passed away in March - to do what they do best: celebrate every note and feeling of the songs of Delp's biggest influence, the Fab Four.
The show, dubbed In My Life: A Concert for Brad Delp, roamed all over the Beatles catalog from the big sing-alongs ('Hey Jude') to the rooting-tooting covers ('Rock 'n' Roll Music') to the hazy psychedelia ('Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds').
While each person who stepped up to the microphone must've felt doubly pressured by the voices that came before, each met the challenge.

The Associated Press reports that the family of rock musician Brad Delp said Wednesday his death last week was a suicide.
In a statement relayed through police, the family gave no other details of Delp's death at his Atkinson home on Friday. Police have said his fiancee, Pamela Sullivan, found him there.
Delp, 55, was the lead singer for the band BOSTON, which was founded in the 1970s.
"He was a man who gave all he had to give to everyone around him, whether family, friends, fans or strangers," the statement said. "He gave as long as he could, as best he could, and he was very tired. We take comfort in knowing that he is now, at last, at peace."
The statement said Sullivan, Delp's children and his mother, Micki Delp, were grateful for the sympathy they had received. They asked that their privacy be respected.
"Mr. Brad Delp. J'ai une ame solitaire. I am a lonely soul," it read.
