Ca faisait un petit moment que j'avais pas ecouté RATT, et me voila a l'instant pris par un petit passage dans la platine d' "INVASION OF YOUR PRIVACY" et rien a dire, si ce n'est que ce groupe respire la classe toujours autant!
pour faire court, j'adore 
et les crossrockers, ils en pensent quoi de la bande a STEPHEN PEARCY

Perso j'adore DETONATOR qui contient sont lot de morceau bien catchy avec la voix si particulière de stephen pearcy !!
un tres tres bon groupe ! et ne pas oublier le superbe album de ARCADE 'calm before the storm'qui mettait en valeur 'stephen pearcy & fred coury'...

pour ma part ma préférence va de très loin à "out of the cellar" mais les deux suivants vallent le détour... après le niveau des albums c'est nettement dégradé (sauf peut être le cd de reformation sans titre sorti chez axe killer en France). |

Comment ai-je pu laisser plus d'une journée sans répondre à ce post.
Fan de la première heure, à l'époque de la sortie de "Out of the cellar", à force d'écoutes j'ai du investir de nouveau sur l'achat du vynil.
Warren de Martini…la claque, just for the feeling.
Pour l'album "Detonator", là ou j'ai eu du plaisir, c'est sur le fait que Ratt ne s'est pas caché sur ses influences pour le grand Aero!!!
Quand je pense que les ricains, vont avoir droit cet été à certaines dates où seront regrouper Ratt, Poison et Great White; je craque!!! | |

C'est marrant, au moment ou je lis ta news avec la composition du groupe ou apparaît John Corrabi, je suis entrain de m'écouter le live de "UNION" -Live at the Galaxy avec le susnommé, Bruce Kulick, Jamie Hunting, Brent Fitz…c'est excellent. | |

Salut à toutes et à tous,
RATT fait partie de cette catégorie de groupes à laquelle je n'adhère toujours pas après de nombreuses années (j'ajoute TESLA et QUEENRYCHE par exemple). Bien qu'il s'agisse d'une formation dont je reconnais incontestablement la qualité je ne suis jamais parvenu à me prendre au jeu. Etrangement bien qu'inconditionnel d'Aerosmith et possédant l'album DETONATOR, je n'ai pas trouvé tant de similitudes que ça entre les deux groupes...va falloir que je m'y remette

The Surviving Members Of RATT Will Not Fully Reunite
Former RATT bassist Juan Croucier has issued the following press release:
To Whom It May Concern:
It is with deep regret that I must inform you that there will not be a full reunion of the surviving Ratt members. Considering the original band broke up 15 years ago and there have been several questionable incarnations of it since then, my hope was maybe this time we could give the Ratt fans what they have wanted all along; the original band. I made an exceptional and painstaking effort to work things out with the others, only to reach an impasse.
There has not been a sincere attempt at redemption by my former band mates, for their insidious and sometimes malicious wrongdoings in the past, toward me. Even when they withdrew critical conditions to help facilitate a long-term reunion, I continued to hope, trying to stay focused on a positive outcome for everyone, especially the fans. I told them, in no uncertain terms, that if we could reach a point of reasonable compromise, in good faith, I would return to the band. To my dismay, near the end of negotiations, ulterior motives prevailed and I was eventually simply stonewalled. Therefore, since nothing has changed, I am left no other choice but to abstain from a reunion.
I also made it clear that I was not doing this for the money. My attempt was motivated by my desire to instill credibility back into the name Ratt, settle unfinished business and to give the Ratt fans what I believe they would truly enjoy seeing and hearing the most. However, their ignorant and unscrupulous habits came into focus once again; a stark reminder of our tumultuous and dysfunctional past.
Unfortunately, the biggest losers in this equation are the Ratt fans, and for that I am truly very sorry. It was my sincere hope throughout several months of negotiations that many of the people that never got to see the original band could at least finally see the surviving members, delivering the bombastic assault of what has come to be known as Ratt N Roll.
The band that will be opening for POISON this summer will be basically the same partially reformed band with Stephen (Pearcy) coming back to do vocals. I will be recording a follow up to my LIQUID SUNDAY solo record and playing shows with my band.

qques news du groupe, d'après le batteur, le groupe s'apprête à embarquer pour une tournée japon Australie :
RATT drummer Bobby Blotzer has issued the following update:
"We are about to embark on our overseas tour of Japan and Australia! We are really psyched as we have not been to Japan in a while and we have never been to Australia, ever! So it is very invigorating for us all. Four shows in Japan and then two shows down under. Should be a great time. So if you are around in that part of the world, come on out!!!!! We hope to crack out some different tunes, and Warren [DeMartini] and I may even take some extended solos! Who knows??? But it will be fun! We are also looking forward to touring with WINGER as we have never done so before. We will have more news soon on plans for next summer. So stay tuned for more!"
