According to MetOnTour.com, which is described as "your FREE virtual backstage pass to every METALLICA show," METALLICA's longtime friend and collaborator, famed video director Wayne Isham, filmed the band's performance last night (Saturday, December 13) at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. As previously reported, he also shot the concert Friday (December 12) at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. It is not presently clear if the footage will be used towards a new promotional music video or it will end up on a future full-length DVD release from the group. |

So we invited our good friend Wayne Isham and his crew to join us for a few shows in California in December of 2008 . . . We go way back with Wayne (several vids from the 'Black' album up through 'Frantic' and the 'Cunning Stunts' DVD) and as always, Wayne rocked it!"
Wayne Isham, 50, is an American movie director who has directed music videos of many popular artists such as MÖTLEY CRÜE, SIMPLE PLAN, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, PANTERA, 'N SYNC, SHANIA TWAIN, GODSMACK, BRITNEY SPEARS, LEONA LEWIS, PINK FLOYD, SHERYL CROW, JOSS STONE, MADONNA, AVRIL LAVIGNE, DEF LEPPARD and BON JOVI, among others.

apparemment le groupe est toujours en forme, voir le report de Gillan en topic concert, si non la rumeur du jour, c'est que leur prochain DVD pourrait être tourné à Nimes ce 7 juillet, c'est pas encore officiel :
According to the April 2009 issue of Live Design magazine, METALLICA will take part in a DVD shoot of the band's current "Death Magnetic" tour in July in the south of France. Speculation is that the show being filmed is the July 7, 2009 concert in Nimes, France at The Antic Arena, which is part of the Festival de Nimes. However, this has not yet been officially confirmed.

Ils étaient à la cérémonie du Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, et la, cette video nous montre le fabuleux Train Kept A Rollin d'Aerosmith dynamité par le groupe en compagnie de Flea des RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS , Jimmy Page de LED ZEPPELIN , Joe Perry d'AEROSMITH et Jeff Beck ! quelle affiche de rêve !

si non apparemment ils ont eu du mal a récupérer le matos de Paris !
METALLICA flew in from Paris, where the group played Wednesday and Thursday nights. The band planned to rehearse with Newsted at soundcheck on Friday but the equipment and the crew apparently arrived later than expected, forcing the soundcheck to be rescheduled for this morning (Saturday). |
