SORTIE LE 15 OCTOBRE 2021, un coffret présentant 42 CD pour les 50 ans du groupe ! Un avant gout avec une version live de "The Hellion/Electric Eye" dans la vidéo ci-dessous.

Avec tous les albums de cette légende du Heavy Metal, nouvellement remastérisés + des enregistrements live inédits et des versions rares

Cette malle aux trésors contiendra les éléments suivants :

- 42 CD rangés dans les pochettes type "papersleeve" dans le même style que les imports japonais

- Des tirages de photos prises par Ross Halfin et dédicacées par Rob Halford, Glenn Tipton, Ian Hill, Richie Faulkner, Scott Travis

- Une reproduction en métal de la fameuse lame de rasoir de la pochette l'album "British Steel"

- Un livre souvenir avec des photos rares et des reproductions d'affiches, de pass de tournées et des publicités

- Une reproduction du programme de la tournée  British Steel

- Deux reproductions des affiches de "British Steel"  (tournée allemande, 1980) de "Defenders Of The Faith" (tournée européenne, 1984)

L'un des plus grands groupes de heavy metal, Judas Priest, s'apprête à sortir un énorme coffret en édition limitée qui comprendra tous les albums live et studio officiels à ce jour, ainsi que 13 disques inédits. Un vrai régal pour les fans, car jamais le groupe n'avait été rechercher autant de matériel inédit dans ses archives. Le tout a été restauré et mixé par Tom Allom, leur producteur emblématique, puis entièrement remasterisé par Alex Wharton aux studios Abbey Road.  

Cette édition spéciale sortira le 15 octobre 2021 via Sony Music.

Ce coffret spécial arrive au moment où le groupe aura enfin l'occasion de célébrer son 50ème anniversaire avec ses fans. En France cet évènement sera marqué par un concert en tête d'affiche au Hellfest en juin 2022. Un festival qui est déjà complet ! Auparavant, cet automne, le quintette entamera les festivités avec une longue tournée aux États-Unis.

Judas Priest, le groupe qui allait changer le visage du heavy metal, s'est formé en 1970 à Birmingham, en Angleterre. Durant les premières années de sa prolifique carrière, le groupe a pavé sa voie d'acier avec des classiques tels que "Sad Wings of Destiny" (1976), "Sin After Sin" (1977) et "Hell Bent for Leather" (1978), ainsi qu'avec le sublime album live : "Unleashed in the East" (1979).

Dans les années 80 Judas Priest a connu un succès phénoménal avec les albums "British Steel" (1980), "Point of Entry" (1981), "Screaming For Vengeance" (1982), "Defender of The Faith" (1984), "Painkiller" (1990, pour ne citer que les principaux.

Sorti en mars 2018, "Firepower", leur dernier album studio en date, s'est classé Top 5 aux Etats-Unis et en Grande-Bretagne.
