Psycrence est un groupe de heavy metal mélodique et prog basé à Athènes, en Grèce. Ils ont été formés en Août 2009 et se composent de Takis Nikolakakis (Vocals), Thomas Kouris (Basse), Michael Aggelos Kouropoulos (guitare), Kimon Zeliotis (guitare) et Timoléon Valsamakis (Batterie). En Décembre 2010, ils sortent une démo EP auto-produit intitulé «Distance» qui a reçu d'excellentes et très encourageants commentaires de la presse.

À la fin de 2013, ils ont terminé l'enregistrement / mixage / mastering leur premier album intitulé "A Frail Deception".
 Certaines de leurs influences comprennent Dream Theater, Nevermore, Symphony X, Soilwork, Scar Symmetry, Pink Floyd
