p'tain, je revais d'une signature chez Frontiers, excellent
ça va etre du tout bon ça, en + avec le projet SCRAP METAL c'est quasi sur qu'ils vont arreter le trip country, et en + y a Bobby Rock qui est revenu en principe, thanks pour la news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bon bein c'est bon, ils promettent une continuité de "after the rain", hé hé esperons.....
a noter le clavier du groupe désormais n'est autre que GARY CORBETT (qui a joué avec CINDERELLA et KISS a la fin des 80's)

rien n'est fait, mais je pense qu'on aura droit a un album important de l'année (si il sort cette année), a condition d'etre réceptif au style des frangins; je le sens bien, en + le team chez Frontiers doit pousser a la roue! ;)

ah oui, ok
oui tout a fait; déja il est dit sur melodic que les frangins devraient enregistrer leur meilleur album, patati patata....
si ils font comme WINGER ou BRITNY FOX pour leur retour, ça a de quoi prendre la poussiere sur une étagère
on verra bien ce qu'il en est, mais souvent dans ces retours "manqués", c'est le songwriting qui est en cause (soit ils ne se sont pas assez foulés pour leurs morceaux, soit le talent s'est évaporé )
on verra bien, j'suis confiant qd meme, car meme sur leur dernier enregistrement a tendance "country" le songwriting etait toujours là.
j'espere avant tout qu'ils reviennent vraiment a leurs débuts d'un point de vue style, qu'ils abandonnent leurs errances "country", c'est ma plus grosse crainte
mais apparamment ils reviendraient a leurs débuts, et je pense que Frontiers attend absolument cela donc y a du avoir un certain forcing de la part du label, meme si les frangins semblaient renouer avec le hard mélodique depuis quelques temps déjà (je pense notamment au projet SCRAP METAL)
bref, wait & see...... ;)

ils ont fait véritablement 1 disque de Country, plutot roots dans le genre (ça sonne pas du tout New Country par exemple, enfin c'est mon impression j'peux me tromper) ("brother harmony") sous le nom de THE NELSONS.
(un album qui me gonfle qd meme....malgré un bon songwriting et une bonne interprétation, ça va 5 minutes mais pas + pour moi :laugh:)
ensuite ils ont fait un album hommage a leur pere Ricky Nelson, je sais plus si c'est un album Live ou pas, des reprises essentiellement ("like father, like sons"), j'ai pas ça par contre, j'suis pas maso non plus :laugh:

en tous cas, si NELSON se défonce comme DANGER DANGER et HOUSE OF LORDS, ça va etre encore un superbe album!

quelques news , outre la sortie prochaine du nouvel album chez Frontiers.
Le label prévoit également de sortir un album Live, enregistré durant le "after the rain" tour en 1990, et un CD incluant toutes les démos des sessions d' "after the rain".
