Après le départ de Schenker en 1978, le reste du groupe,

avec les membres fondateurs le chanteur Phil Mogg, le bassiste Pete Way et le batteur Andy Parker, aux côtés du guitariste Paul Chapman, ont remanié leur vaisseau spatial et sorti dans les années '80  des classiques influents comme "No Place To Run", "The Wild, The Willing & The Innocent" et "Mechanix".

Live Sightings, un magnifique coffret de quatre CD remet en lumière cette époque des années '80 avec les versions live de "No Place To Run", "Lonely Heart" et "We Belong To The Night", avec les classiques du groupe. Le boitier quatre CDs sortira le  5 Février via Cleopatra Records - avec un  somptueux  livret de 16 pages avec des photos en couleur. Il ya même un bonus LP spécial  live  de 1972 des enregistrements connus avec le guitariste Larry Wallis ( Motorhead).
