Sky Empire est de retour avec son deuxième album "The Shifting Tectonic Plates Of Power - Part One". Cette fois, Jeff Scott Soto (Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Talisman, Journey) a repris le poste de chanteur et il fait un travail fantastique. L'album séduira sûrement les fans du heavy rock/metal progressif des années 70, 80 et 90, mais aussi les fans de l'équilibre impeccable new age d'artistes prog comme TesseracT, Haken ou Vola.
