R.I.P.  Colin Flooks (aka Cozy Powell) (BLACK SABBATH, RAINBOW, WHITESNAKE, THE JEFF BECK GROUP) - 29 décembre 1947 – 5 avril 1998
Le batteur légendaire Cozy Powell s'est tué dans un accident de voiture en 1998. Il était seul dans sa Saab 9000 lorsqu'il a perdu le contrôle sur l'autoroute M4 au Royaume-Uni et s'est écrasé entre les jonctions 18 et 19 près de Bristol. Il roulait bien au-delà de 90 mi / h. Selon le rapport de la BBC, au moment de l'accident, le taux d'alcoolémie de Powell dépassait la limite légale, il ne portait pas de ceinture de sécurité et il parlait à sa petite amie sur son téléphone portable. La météo a peut-être été un facteur. Il est décédé des suites de ses blessures à l'hôpital. Il avait 50 ans.

Kurt Cobain s'est suicidé en se tirant une balle dans la tête à son domicile à Seattle, mais son corps n'a été découvert que le 8 avril, par un électricien venu installer un système de sécurité. J'ai ressenti l'excitation d'écouter et de créer de la musique, en plus d'écrire vraiment ... depuis trop d'années maintenant. "
